As family life is forever busy I sometimes forget what I’ve written, until I happen across it online, or in a real magazine… As I read the 2012 Winter Issue of Juno I saw my poem, a triolet, entitled ‘Within My Mother’s Arms’ and then flicked back and saw that my article about Naomi Stadlen’s book How Mothers Love called ‘In Defence of Athens’ was one of the featured articles online.
‘In Defence of Athens’ – an intriguing title, I hope? – about the two different approaches to mothering can be read online here: http://www.junomagazine.com/in-defence-of-athens/
If you would like to read my triolet, please do consider buying a copy of the magazine; it’s a great read and packed full of beautiful art. You can get it here: http://shop.junopublishing.co.uk/product-category/current-issue/
